"Borrowed time"

As humans, we rush and cling, often acting as though everything we do and hold is ours forever. Yet we are only visitors on Earth, each of us living on borrowed time. This planet is not ours to own.
So often we forget to relax, to love more, to cling less, and to notice the wonder in small things. Then life steps in with its ironies, coincidences, and “wrong turns.” Only in hindsight do we often see the wisdom behind those moments, and sometimes even laugh. Perhaps that is the Soul’s way of reminding us that control has always been an illusion.
If trees could talk, I imagine they would shake their leafy heads and whisper about how strange humanity can be, wasting so much energy chasing what cannot truly be possessed. They would remind us of the futility of clinging, of building systems of control, and of getting lost in illusions that distract us from what really matters. Perhaps they would sigh at how easily our minds are swept away by noise, endless distractions, and the cycles of comparison that quietly diminish our joy.
And yet, despite all this, we are one human family. We are on a shared journey of awakening to oneness. We stumble at times, held back by the weight of division and distraction. But to rise above the 3D matrix of existence, we must begin to see through these illusions. We must loosen our grip on what was never ours to keep and root ourselves instead in love, presence, and unity. Trees show us how. They stand tall without clinging, they give without asking, and they grow without competing.
Perhaps the greatest cosmic joke is that we spend so much of our energy chasing control, permanence, and power, when the real treasure of life is found in letting go. True freedom is in the flow with the remembering that we are only visitors here.
Imagine if we all chose to spend our energy making our borrowed time beautiful. What illusions are you ready to release, and what seeds of love are you ready to plant in the time you have been given?
